Cabinet of Curiosity - Bella

Natalie's grandmother, Bella Bloom (best name!, kept these beautiful lipstick holder on her dresser. A symbol of old-school glamour.

We love this image taken in 1992 by Stacey Greene for a series of close-up used lipsticks. Each photograph was named after the lipstick's owner and represent the unique style of application: "a sculpture evolving from a private daily ritual."



Bloom's Lipstick shade Bella, named in honour of Natalie's grandmother.

And the double-ended eye pencil that Bella used to wear inspired us to make our highly pigmented, shimmery Lagoon eye shadow.
